Simple vs. Easy: A Loving Reality Check
Simple moves you forward. Easy keeps you stuck.
Here’s what I have learned as an entrepreneur: building a business isn’t easy. But what if I told you it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming?
Here’s the distinction: Simple and Easy are not the same thing.
Simple is about finding the clearest, most efficient path forward. It’s about streamlining the complexities of your business to create a sustainable way to grow.
Easy, on the other hand, is about effort—or avoiding it. It’s the temptation to wish away the hard stuff instead of rolling up your sleeves and taking action.
Simple propels you toward your goals because it’s future-focused. Easy, unfortunately, keeps you stuck, waiting for a shortcut that doesn’t exist.
I’ll admit it—I’ve caught myself in the Easy trap more times than I’d like to admit. Maybe you have too if you’ve ever thought:
· “I wish I didn’t have to do all of this.”
· “Can’t I just focus on what I enjoy?”
· “I don’t feel like doing this today.”
· “No one told me it would be this hard!”
The entrepreneurs who thrive are the ones who embrace the challenge. They stop waiting for things to be easy and instead focus on the simplicity of clear priorities, actionable plans, and steady momentum. Ironically, as they simplify, the process starts to feel easier.
So, here’s my loving challenge to you for the remainder of 2024:
1. Acknowledge that growth will require effort.
2️. Remember, you don’t have to do it all alone.
This is where I come in. As a Certified OBM, my role is to help you untangle the complexities of your business and create systems that simplify your journey forward. Let’s connect and create a plan that works for you.
